FC Barcelona has been told to sell players this summer to avoid breaching FFP rules and to gain funds for new players this summer. The Catalan club has been looking through their squad to see which player could be a good option to sell this summer in order to gain funds. Other clubs have shown interest in crucial players like Ronald Araujo and Frenkie De Jong. While the club has stated that they don't want to sell both Araujo and De Jong, the club reportedly will listen to offers that are worth more than $100 million.

Bayern Munich showed interest in Araujo in January, but Barcelona said no. Araujo was reportedly open to the move but preferred to stay at FC Barcelona. Araujo is seen as the future captain of the club, and the defender is potentially a target for Bayern this summer. While the club hopes that Araujo stays, Robert Lewandowski is a player many Barca fans were hoping to receive an offer. The Polish striker will turn 36 this summer and is not having the season he had last season.

Some rumors circulating in the club suggested that Lewandowski would be let go this summer if an offer from Saudi Arabia arrived. Reports suggested that Saudi Arabia was interested in Lewandowski, but now the Saudi Pro League is willing to offer a big fee for another player at FC Barcelona. A Saudi Pro League club is reportedly offering over $87 million for this Barcelona player this summer and the Catalan club could be tempted to let him go.
