Despite all his success, he is not included among the most valuable players in the Copa America tournament. Messi, getting older and playing in the MLS, has dropped his market value, while other younger players in Copa America have a high market value that reaches $100 million. Two players that come as no surprise to any fan are Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo from the Brazilian national team and Real Madrid. Vinicius is the most valuable player in Copa America. He is worth around $180 million, according to Transfermarkt. Federico Valverde is the second most valuable player in the Copa America with a market value of $120 million, and Rodrygo is valued at around $110 million.
The most valuable Argentine on the national team is Lautaro Martinez, whose value is around $110 million. Julian Alvarez's market value is around $90 million, and it makes him the second most valuable Argentine player in the Copa America. Messi's value is currently around $30 million, which is not and considering him playing at Inter Miami and turning 37 in four days.
