Kevin De Bruyne is one of the greatest Premier League midfielders of all time due to his performances with Manchester City in the past couple of seasons. The Belgian is currently one of the best players in the world despite suffering from a terrible injury that kept him out for the first half of this season. That injury hasn't stopped him from producing world-class performances with Man City in all competitions. De Bruyne joined the debate between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and picked his preferred player out of the two.

Kevin De Bruyne joined Rio Ferdinand in an interview with FIVE a few years ago, and the former Manchester United defender asked him about his all-time greatest 5-a-side team. De Bruyne quickly named Lionel Messi in his team along with Neymar. De Bruyne also added N'Golo Kante and Virgil Van Dijk. He finally added his Manchester City teammate Bernardo Silva as the fifth member of his 5-a-side team.

Ferdinand asked him why he added Bernardo Silva to his team along with the other big names. De Bruyne said, "Small spaces, he's unbelievable; he reminds me a little bit of David [Silva] in that side; he's a wind-up. He winds a lot of people up. People hate him for that, but I think he gives you a little bit of everything. With the team that I have, that fits him perfectly. His quality this year has been unbelievable, and he deserves it."
