Real Madrid will be even stronger in the attack next season, even though they are a big threat in that part of the field. Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, and Jude Bellingham, as attacking midfielders, were a dynamic and dangerous trio that dominated Europe in the Champions League. Now, Real Madrid will have Kylian Mbappé join the club, and they will also bring in Endrick Felipe from Brazil. As the attack gets stronger, the squad gets bigger, which leaves a few spots left in obtaining numbers for next season. Mbappé was rumored to wear the number 10 shirt at Real Madrid next season, but Luka Modric seems closer to staying. Mbappé will likely wear the number 9 shirt, which leaves Endrick obligated to wear a new number that he is familiar with. According to the Athletic, Endrick will likely wear #16 with Real Madrid next season. If Modric had left the club, Mbappé would've worn the number 10 shirt, and Endrick would've been given the number 9 shirt.

The Athletic also reported that Endrick’s presentation will be on July 26th, ten days after Mbappé's presentation at the Santiago Bernabeu. Endrick is also expected to be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu, and the Brazilian will be given his new number and jersey. Mbappé's presentation will be two days after the EURO 2024 final in Germany at the Olympiastadion.

Endrick will sign his Real Madrid contract on his 18th birthday, which is on the 21st of July. The Brazilian has been confirmed to play for Real Madrid in the upcoming season since late 2022. The Spanish club agreed on a deal with Palmeiras for the teenager, who was 16 in 2022. The deal is worth close to $60 million with add-ons.

What's next for Endrick?

Endrick is currently with the Brazilian national team for Copa America. He is not expected to start despite scoring three goals in his last four games with Brazil. According to ESPN Brazil, after the Copa America, which ends on July 14th, Endrick will be available from the first match in Real Madrid’s pre-season tour in the USA.
