Kylian Mbappé does not want to give up on playing every game in EUROS 2024 this summer, as he wore a specialized mask during team training in France ahead of the match against the Netherlands. Football fans online were surprised to see the mask on Mbappé, and it had a unique look since it had the colors of the French flag and the initials of his name. According to Diario AS, the mask is reportedly worth around $1,284. While the mask is cool to see on Mbappé on the pitch, there is a specific rule that Mbappé has to follow. L' Équipe and NOS report that Kylian Mbappé is not allowed to play with a mask in the colors of the French flag tomorrow; only a black mask is allowed. He also was not able to participate in the 11v11 during the final training session tonight, which might decrease his chances of playing. Mbappé is still reportedly insisting that he is ready for the match against the Netherlands tomorrow.

The Athletic reported that Mbappé has multiple masks prepared that are of only one color with different sizes. He will be able to wear one of those masks in the next games. If Mbappé does not play in the next game for France, he is expected to be back for their final match of the group stage against Poland next week.

Mbappé traveled with the rest of the French national team to Leipzig, which brings hope to some fans that he will play tomorrow. The French star wants to win this competition since he already won the World Cup for France. He has yet to score a goal in the European Championship as well.
