Mauricio Pechettino was appointed as the new coach of the United States National Team with a salary of 6 million dollars annually and became the highest paid coach, even above Lionel Scaloni, who is the current world champion who is in 9th place.

Pochettino did not have a good time at Chelsea, they allowed him to spend more than 300 million dollars on signings and he did not even manage to qualify for the Champions League. He only spent close to 250 million dollars on two players, Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, both from great success in each of his teams and South American stars but not even with them on the team he managed to save a good year in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino was sought by PSG and Inter Milan, he was also tempted by dollars from Saudi Arabia but the offer of six million from the United States National Team convinced him to have his first experience as a coach of a national team.

With this figure Mauricio Pochettino became the highest paid coach, above Marcelo Bielsa of Uruguay who currently has a salary of four million euros per season.
