Manchester United want no more of Maguire's mistakes and the new $50 million reinforcement they're looking for

Manchester United will be with Erik Ten Hag for another season this August. The Premier League club is looking to make changes this summer which regards to the squad. One of the players that could be leaving this summer is Harry Maguire. The English defender played more games this past season under Ten Hag but fans are wishing for an upgrade. The defender has been at Man United since the summer of 2019 for more than $87 million. Sky Sports reports that Manchester United has held initial talks with Bayern Munich to explore the conditions for a potential deal with Matthijs de Ligt. Sky Germany has reported that Bayern’s valuation is around $50 million. Bayern Munich is open to selling the Dutch defender this summer, with multiple clubs interested. Bayern Munich brought him in from Juventus in the summer of 2022. Manchester United fans would welcome this arrival as he was regarded as one of the best center-backs in the world for a few years now but has not given as many minutes with Bayern as he wished he did.
