Matheus Cunha has been a standout performer since his arrival in the Premier League, but this season he has been one of the few bright spots for Vitor Pereira's Wolverhampton Wanderers as they struggle to avoid relegation.

Given his impressive form, both Arsenal and Manchester United have expressed their interest in signing the Brazilian forward. For the Gunners, Cunha would provide a much-needed option on the left-wing following the injury to Bukayo Saka. Meanwhile, Manchester United are looking to bolster their attacking options.

However, Wolves are reluctant to let go of their star player and will do everything they can to keep him at the club, at least until the end of the season.

Premier League Giants Vie for Wolves Striker Cunha

At 25, Matheus Cunha is arguably in the prime of his career. He has scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 19 appearances across all competitions in 2024/25, and is currently valued at €43 million. His contract with Wolves runs until 2027.

The striker came through the ranks at Coritiba before making his senior debut with Sion. 1 He then moved to Germany, where he represented Leipzig and Hertha Berlin, before joining Atletico Madrid. 2 In 2022/23, he joined Wolverhampton on loan, with an option to buy that was triggered the following year. He has since become a key player for the English club
