Liverpool trembles as Bayern is willing to pay this big fee for Xabi Alonso

Sky Sports Germany reports that should Alonso leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer, the Spanish manager is leaning towards a move to Bayern Munich. Talks have already taken place, not only with his management but also with Alonso himself. The Spaniard would cost a compensation fee of $16-27 million this summer.

Bayern Munich have a plan B if they don't get Xabi Alonso

Sky Sports Germany reports that Bayern Munich is looking at alternatives that could be cheaper than appointing Xabi Alonso. Max Eberl has a very high opinion of Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian is even the number two choice for the club currently behind Xabi Alonso. De Zerbi has a $11 million release clause valid for this summer.
