Liverpool FC will look to sign 35 million euro winger from the Bundesliga

Liverpool FC has been having an outstanding season. The Reds are currently first in the Premier League with 45 points and only suffered one loss. The team also topped their Europa League group and is through the next round. They also advanced to the next round in the FA Cup after beating Arsenal and remain undefeated in their last seven games.

The recent game saw them defeat Fulham 2-1 in the first leg of the EFL Cup at Anfield. The team struggled at first but managed to make a comeback with goals from Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo. Darwin Nunez played a big role in the comeback as well. Mohamed Salah will miss the next couple of games as the Liverpool schedule becomes heavy.

The team looked to be able to cope against Fulham, but Salah can potentially miss big games like the second leg against Fulham, Chelsea, and Arsenal in the league. Liverpool is willing to spend on another winger this winter from the Bundesliga, who is looking for a way out.

Bundesliga journalist Christian Falk revealed that Manchester United was interested in the Dutch winger. Man United wanted to offer Sancho to BVB in a swap deal, but Sancho joined on his own in a six-month-long loan deal. Liverpool are interested in the player, and with United out of the race, this is a clear path for the Merseyside club to sign him.

Malen had 15 goal contributions in 22 games for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga last year. His form dropped this season in the Bundesliga, as the winger has five goals in 16 games. Liverpool would still like depth in the right-wing position since Salah is their only natural right-winger.
