José Mourinho has once again expressed his frustration with Turkish football, this time following his team Fenerbahce's victory over Trabzonspor. The Portuguese manager launched a scathing attack on the officiating, singling out referee Atilla Karaoglan and the VAR system.

"We didn't see Atilla Karaoglan on the pitch, but he was the most important man of the match, being an invisible man. I'm speaking on behalf of all Fenerbahce fans. We don't want him. We don't want this referee, neither as VAR nor as a pitch referee," Mourinho stated.

The Special One went on to criticize the overall system, saying, "We play against good opponents, but also against the system. That's the hardest thing. We play against VAR, against the system. That's why we celebrate like this after winning. We win against very, very strong people. I'm angry with the people at Fenerbahce who brought me here, they told me half the story. If they had told me everything, I wouldn't have come to Fenerbahce."

Mourinho also expressed his frustration with the lack of international attention on the Turkish league, stating, "Not many people outside of Turkey watch Turkish league matches. I'll post it on my Instagram and millions of people will see it."

However, the manager did leave a glimmer of hope, acknowledging that his words could disappear if things change: "If things change, if the system strengthens, my words will disappear. Perhaps Fenerbahce will be even more aware. These things are not hidden..."

Mourinho's outburst has sparked a heated debate in Turkish football, with fans and pundits divided over his comments. Some have expressed support for Mourinho, agreeing that the officiating in Turkey needs to improve. Others, however, have criticized the manager for his behavior and have accused him of making excuses.
