Real Madrid makes a few changes from their previous lineup against Atletico Madrid. In the 5-3 win, Carlo Ancelotti had Kepa in goal and Luka Modric in the lineup. For the final against Barca, the Italian manager starts with Lunin in goal, and Toni Kroos starts to replace Modric.
As mentioned before, Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid 5-3 in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal. Their last match against Barcelona was in the 2-1 league win in late October. Ancelotti will look to get revenge from last year's Spanish Super Cup final, where they lost to Barca 3-1 in Saudi Arabia.

Xavi was rumored to play Lamine Yamal and Joao Felix in the lineup to replace the injured Raphinha. The Spanish manager played a 4-3-3 lineup for their game against Osasuna. Joao Felix and Yamal impressed in the 2-0 semifinal win, with one getting an assist and the other scoring the winner. Xavi opts to choose a different route for this final against Real Madrid.
In goal, Xavi has put Inaki Peña with the same four defenders in front of him. Balde and Kounde will play as the fullbacks, with Christensen and Araujo as the center-backs. Xavi decides not to play in a 4-3-3 formation and selects four midfielders. The four midfielders are Sergi Roberto, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, and Gundogan. Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres will be the strikers for the game. Xavi wants to replicate their 3-1 win against Real Madrid in last year's Spanish Super Cup final.
