For weeks now, newspapers, TV shows and social media have been flooded with news, rumors and speculation about the future of Kylian Mbappé. He has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 30 and has not yet decided what he will do after that date. Although he has a clause that allows him to extend his contract until 2025, it is not clear if he wants to stay in France.

If his intention is to change clubs, the favorites to sign him seem to be Real Madrid and Liverpool. The Spanish side have been interested in him for years and now they may finally get the chance to have him, which would allow them to form a fearsome attack with Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius and 'Kiki'. The Reds also targeted him some time ago and now they are likely to need him more than ever, as Mohamed Salah could leave for Saudi Arabia this summer.

However, Mbappé is not the only star who will become a free agent at the end of this season. One of the most valuable players in the same situation is Adrien Rabiot. The French midfielder, with a market value of $43 million, is under contract with Juventus until June 30 and has yet to agree a renewal. In the same situation is Piotr Zielinski, Napoli's $32 million midfielder.

Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is unlikely to sign a new contract with the English side and will become a free agent in July. That is why the club's chiefs were interested in negotiating his departure in January, but he apparently decided to stay until the end of the season. Should this be confirmed, The Red Devils will lose the nearly $90 million they paid for him in 2015.

Problems in Spain too

Real Madrid, who could benefit from Mbappé's situation at PSG, are not safe from this problem: Toni Kroos may also become a free agent this summer and leave after a decade in Spain. At 34 years old, his value is $15 million.
