EURO kicks off and with Cristiano leading the way, meet the tournament’s highest paid players, Bellingham is not there

EURO 2024 kicks off today as Germany will play against Scotland in the tournament’s opening match at the Allianz Arena in Munich. Many fans are looking forward to this tournament that will last a month, and some of the biggest stars will be playing in these games, including Cristiano Ronaldo. Some of the best players in the world will be representing their respective countries, and some are amongst the best-paid players in the world. Ronaldo leads the list of the highest-paid players in EURO 2024 as he earns around $185 million at Al Nassr. He is earning more than any big star in the competition, such as Jude Bellingham, Kevin De Bruyne, Frenkie De Jong, Harry Kane, and even Kylian Mbappé. There is a list of the top ten players who earns the most at their respective clubs that will play in EURO 2024.

In the 10th spot is Romelu Lukaku, who plays for AS Roma in the Serie A. He reportedly earned $10.8 million with the Italian club this past season, and he will represent Belgium in EURO 2024. Thomas Muller is next as he earns around $10.9 million at Bayern Munich and is seen as one of the biggest faces in the German national team. His national team is under pressure this summer as the EUROS will be played in Germany, and they want to win a major trophy for the first time since 2014, the World Cup.

Ousmane Dembele at PSG earned more than $11 million this past season, and he will be a key player for France as they seem to be one of the big favorites to win EURO 2024. Manuel Neuer earned around $11.1 million at Bayern Munich this past season and is likely to be the starting goalkeeper for Germany. Toni Kroos earned around $11.7 million at Real Madrid, and this month will be the last time he will play professional football as he will retire after EURO 2024.

Kylian Mbappé is the second highest earner in EURO 2024

Above Toni Kroos is Harry Kane, who earned $13.3 million at Bayern Munich; Kevin De Bruyne, who earned around $13.4 million at Man City; and Frenkie De Jong, who earned around $18 million at FC Barcelona. Kylian Mbappé easily overtakes them all except for Ronaldo; he will start earning around $35 to $40 million with Real Madrid starting July 1st.
