Cristiano’s vision for businesses, his new deal with a brand nobody would believe that sells more than $130m per year

Cristiano Ronaldo is the best-paid athlete in the world across all sports, and his contract with Al Nassr gives him more than $180 million per year as a standard base salary. The Portuguese striker also has many businesses that make him a ton of money apart from the salary he earns with Al Nassr. Ronaldo is now investing in two companies that usually make sales for more than $130 million per year. He has invested 10% in Vista Alegre and in Bordallo Pinheiro. He bought 10% of the capital of Vista Alegre Atlantis and agreed to acquire 30% of the capital of Vista Alegre, Spain. The company published a statement in regards to Ronaldo’s investment as they wrote, “Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the best players ever in the history of world football, and the most well-known and admired Portuguese personality in the world, acquired today, through CR7, SA and in strategic alignment with the Visabeira Group, 10% of the capital of Vista Alegre Atlantis.”

Ronaldo wrote about the company and his investment in the product. Cristiano wrote, “Vista Alegre and Bordallo Pinheiro are brands for which I have always had a great admiration and of which I am a regular customer. The possibility of supporting the globalization strategy of the Vista Alegre brand, as a luxury lifestyle brand, is a pride for me as a Portuguese.”

Ronaldo promised to promote the brand and make it one of the best brands in the world through his publicity. In 2023, the Vista Alegre Group produced porcelain stoneware and normal stoneware that produced sales of $130 million. The foreign market represents about 70% of the group’s turnover in countries like Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil, and the United States.

What is next for Cristiano Ronaldo?

Ronaldo and Portugal will be playing in EUROS 2024 this Tuesday against the Czech Republic in Group F. CR7 is expected to start in the match against the Czech Republic after scoring a brace against Ireland in a 3-0 win this past week in a friendly match. The other opponents in Group F are Turkey and Georgia.
