Carlo Ancelotti achieves big milestone after Real Madrid's win against Getafe

Real Madrid continues to excel this season even when they rotate players. Instead of Vinicius and Rodrygo as the starting strikers, Carlo Ancelotti started Joselu to rest Rodrygo for the Madrid derby. Ancelotti also put Bellingham in a deeper position in the midfield.

It didn’t matter, though, because Joselu delivered and guided Real Madrid to another win in La Liga thanks to his brace. He scored a header and finished the second goal with a left-footed strike at the bottom right corner. Joselu is now the second top goal scorer for Real Madrid this season behind Jude Bellingham. Joselu expressed his delight in helping the team. Joselu said, "For me, it is a dream, the simple fact of being able to be here; I have come to take advantage of moments like today. I am super proud of everything I have done in my life and career to be able to finish here, and I am enjoying it like a little boy."

Jude Bellingham still leads the chart for most goal contributions for Real Madrid this season with 26. Rodrygo has 19 goal contributions in 2,384 minutes. Vinicius Jr and Joselu are tied with 16 goal contributions, but the Brazilian has played 1.597 minutes compared to the Spanish striker’s 1,424 minutes. Brahim Diaz is fifth with 9 goal contributions this season with 996 minutes.
