Ronaldinho on a visit to Colombia was asked which player he would have liked to play with between Carlos Valderrama and James Rodríguez, the carioca star indicated that: "Valderrama because he was an idol as a child, he always looked at his plays, but I would still love to play with the other too, but Valderrama was my idol as a child."

Ronaldinho respects several Colombian players very much and said that: "I have always loved Colombian soccer. I have several idols here. When he played as a child he said that he was like: [René] Higuita, Valderrama, [Freddy] Rincón and [Faustino] Asprilla. They were soccer players that I always liked and today I have the happiness to say that they are my friends."

Ronaldinho's quality as a player is unquestionable, although the issue that he liked to extend the night with the parties is not ruled out, a topic in which most experts agree that if Ronaldinho had not had that party issue he would have been a player a thousand times better than he was, taking into account that he was an unusual and incomparable crack.

Ronaldinho despite coming from Brazil, which is one of the cradles of South American and world soccer, given that the cariocas have won five World Cups, despite that and much more, Ronaldinho admires several Colombian players and has them as his references since childhood.

Ronaldinho at club level played 695 games, had 266 goals scored and 166 assists, with the Brazilian National Team he played 165 games, scored 67 goals and gave 63 assists. Ronaldinho won 19 national and international titles in his career, has in his resume a total of 59 individual distinctions.
