Karim Benzema, the former Real Madrid striker, has shared his thoughts on Kylian Mbappé's adaptation to the Spanish capital. In a recent interview on El Chiringuito, Benzema offered some key advice to his fellow Frenchman, emphasizing the need for Mbappé to embrace a new role and handle the pressure of playing for one of the world's biggest clubs.

Benzema highlighted the challenge of accommodating both Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior in the starting lineup, suggesting that Mbappé could thrive as a more central striker. "The problem for me is that Mbappé isn't a center forward. Every time he plays as a '9' for France, it's not good; that's not his position," Benzema explained. "He has to get it into his head that he has to be a '9' and forget about the left wing. He's been very good on the left, but now he has to excel in a different role."

The French legend also touched on the pressure that comes with playing for Real Madrid, comparing his own experience to Mbappé's. "My situation in my first year and Kylian's is different. I was 21 and he's 25; it's not the same. He knows there's a lot of pressure at Real Madrid. If you don't score a goal in two or three games, they're going to criticize you. He has to learn to live with that pressure."

Benzema's comments underscore the unique challenges that Mbappé faces as he seeks to establish himself as a key player for Real Madrid. The French forward's ability to adapt to a new role and handle the intense scrutiny that comes with playing for such a demanding club will be crucial to his long-term success at the Santiago Bernabéu.
