American goalkeeper Diego Kochen is nearing a full recovery from a hamstring injury sustained on September 20th. The 18-year-old shot-stopper, who has been training with the FC Barcelona B squad, is expected to be given the medical green light soon.

Kochen, a Miami native, has been touted as one of the club's brightest young talents. With his return to full fitness, he is poised to become the first-choice goalkeeper for Barça Atlètic. Despite his young age, Kochen has already earned international caps for the United States men's national team and is a regular in the squad.

Despite his talent and experience at the international level, the young goalkeeper has only managed two appearances for Barça B's affiliate, Real Unión, due to the injury.

Kochen's exceptional footwork, aerial ability, shot-stopping, and leadership qualities have made him a standout prospect for the Catalan giants. His return to the pitch will be a significant boost for Barça Atlètic as they aim to climb the table in their respective league.
