Real Madrid's manager Carlo Ancelotti is set to finish his vacation to get Los Blancos ready for the preseason tour in the United States. Real Madrid looks forward to playing next season with a stronger squad, but Ancelotti will not be able to count on players like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé. The two-star player is in the semifinals of the EUROS with their respective national teams. France will be taking on Spain, and England will take on the Netherlands. Due to these two-star players missing, Ancelotti has a plan for how to replace them on the preseason tour. Arancha Rodríguez reports that Real Madrid's pre-season will start with a lot of the youth players. The others will join depending on when they leave the national team. Ancelotti will trust a lot in the youth this summer even though throughout the season, the Italian manager will play most of the star players like Mbappé and Bellingham. Not all the stars will be missing in the US pre-season tour for Real Madrid.

Players who will travel with Real Madrid for the summer tour are Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Endrick, Eder Militao, and Arda Guler. Yesterday, their national teams were eliminated from their respective competitions. Guler and Turkiye have been eliminated from the EUROS after losing 2-1 to the Netherlands. Brazil drew 0-0 against Uruguay but lost 4-2 on penalties in the quarterfinals of the Copa America.

Another player who is not joining Real Madrid in the US tour is Fede Valverde. His Uruguay team defeated Brazil in the quarterfinals and will play in the semifinals of the Copa America against Colombia. Real Madrid's preseason start at the end of July, while the Copa America final is on July 14th. The EURO 2024 Final is also on the 14th of July.

Real Madrid's preseason opponents

On July 31st, Real Madrid plays their first match of the preseason against AC Milan at Soldier Field. On August 3rd, Real Madrid will play a 'friendly' Clasico against FC Barcelona at the MetLife Stadium. On August 6th, Real Madrid will play against Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium.
