The first half was dominated by FC Barcelona, who had great chances to score but couldn't convert. Lamine Yamal took a low shot that Alex Meret stopped. In the second half, it was the same story of the game: Barca created chances and dominated the possession. Barca would get what they deserved as their goal arrived in the 60th minute. Pedri collected the ball near the Napoli box and passed a ball to Lewandowski in the box. The Polish striker controls the ball and pretends to aim at the right corner but instead drills a low shot into the bottom left corner.

Lewandowski scores FC Barcelona's first Champions League knockout stage goal in over 3 years. Lewandowski also scored his 93rd Champions League goal and has now scored in four consecutive games across all competitions.
