Cristiano Ronaldo's summer with the Portuguese national team is over after losing 5-3 on penalties to France in the quarterfinals of the EUROS. Ronaldo is currently on vacation with his family and enjoys his time off. The Portuguese striker will soon end his vacation to rejoin the Al Nassr team to prepare for the upcoming season. What the Portuguese star has not realized is that Al Nassr has been working to sign new players this summer, during the transfer window, to build a stronger team to compete against Al Hilal, the Saudi Pro League champions. One of the players the club is interested in is labeled as the heir of Lionel Messi and has played with the Argentine legend in the past World Cup in Qatar. Tutto Sport reports that Al Nassr offered Paulo Dybala a three-year contract with a salary of $20 million a year plus bonuses. The Argentine attacker is currently with AS Roma, but he could be leaving the club this summer since his contract expires next summer.

Dybala did not get called up for the Copa America with the Argentina national team, which shocked many fans. The Argentine attacker played well at AS Roma this past season. Dybala played a total of 39 matches for Roma this past season. He scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists across all competitions. Although he suffered injuries that prevented him from playing a couple of games with Roma, the 30-year-old still provides lots of quality.

Al Nassr may have the edge over other European clubs that could be interested in signing Dybala this summer. His release clause with Roma this summer is worth just over $12 million, but the salary will be a key part of Dybala's decision to pick a new club. Dybala has also been linked to clubs like Manchester United these past couple of weeks.

Dybala with AS Roma

As of now, Dybala and the rest of the Roma players are back at the club facilities to prepare for the preseason and the upcoming season that starts in a month. Dybala seems in good spirits after taking a month off, and the Argentine will have to respond to Al Nassr's offer soon to see if he will become a Ronaldo teammate or stay in Italy.
