Another weekend passed and Lionel Messi's adaptation to french soccer and PSG is evident. The argentinian striker scored a 3-point-worth goal against Olympique Lyon on sunday and showed, alongside his favorite partner on the pitch, Neymar, a performance for the week's highlights.
Messi only needed 5 minutes to open the scorecard. Unfortunately for Argentina's number ‘10’, Anthony Lopes denied his 2nd goal with an outstanding save after a perfectly executed free kick. However, Messi's highlights don't stop there.

Mbappe and the message wich he states that he is not on the same level with his French teammates
Earlier in the same week, Messi broke yet another record and surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo in what is commonly named ‘his’ competition, UEFA Champions League. The eternal ‘who’s better' debate between Messi and Ronaldo continues as the former FC Barcelona player scored against Maccabi Haifa.
Messi has now scored against 39 different clubs in this international competition, whereas CR7 is now second in this statistic with 38 different clubs amongst his ‘victims’. Now, the Copa América champion has 672 goals in his career, without penalties accounted for, versus the portuguese icon's 671.
Is Cristiano Ronaldo's career coming to an end? ‘Mr Champions’ is now losing relevance at Manchester United and is forced to play Europa League this season, mostly watching matches from the bench, while Messi is a regular starter and is arguably ‘on point’ for the World Cup.
