Why Sporting’s coach does not want Cristiano Ronaldo and prefers to quit

Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent seems to be out of options in these last days of the transfer market. The 'super agent' Jorge Mendes is desperately trying to satisfy the requests of Cristiano Ronaldo, who wants to join a club that plays in the Champions League at all costs.

The Portuguese's agent is trying to move mountains to find a place for his star client and friend, although so far he has had little success. Bayern, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus or Atlético are some of the clubs that have rejected his incorporation.

Right now Napoli is the most likely option, although according to Calciomercato, Mendes promised the owner Aurelio De Laurentiis to bring him an offer of more than 100 million for Osimhen to make room for ‘CR7’. On loan and with United paying all (or a large part) of his salary, something that seems farfetched.

Sporting Lisbon has always been an option for Cristiano, although The Times points out that the coach, Ruben Amorim, is totally against his arrival.
