An example of this is that UEFA announced their donation of 150,000 euros to the Turkish Football Federation and a further 50,000 euros to the Bonyan and Tiafi Organization, which is also helping Turkey's victims.

How did Cristiano Ronaldo contribute to the cause?

Through his former teammate Merih Demiral with whom he played at Juventus, he offered one of his autographed shirts to be able to auction it off and raise funds to help the cause. At the beginning of the auction the price would be 52,500 euros, but it ended up being sold for much more.
