These were his exact words: "I am the best player in history, in good times and in bad times (...) I respect everyone's preferences, but I don't see anyone better than me." The answer did not surprise many, since the confidence that one has in oneself has always been worthy of admiration.

Cristiano Ronaldo also explained: "I won the Ballon d'Or before Messi. Then he beat me with four in a row. At that moment I was sad and angry. I went to the award ceremonies but never won. At one point I was even unmotivated,"  Cristiano Ronaldo confessed.
