With just a few weeks to go before the start of the 2022-23 LaLiga Santander, a big change is on the horizon for Atlético de Madrid. It is not about the recomposition of the squad in terms of summer market signings, but a name change for the 'Colchoneros' stadium.
Why Jules Koundé prefers to play for Barcelona

"Our commitment to sustainability reaches the next level, thanks to the agreement with Cívitas for the next 10 years. Their alliance goes much further, it is not only our main sustainability and strategic sponsor," the president noted, before announcing the "highly valuable" agreement for the stadium to be named Cívitas Metropolitano.
In terms of sporting matters, Atlético de Madrid will make its debut in LaLiga Santander 2022-23 on August 15 against Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez. Before that, they will play three friendlies: Numancia, Manchester United and Juventus.
