The drama between Antoine Griezmann, Atlético de Madrid, and Barcelona haven't finished yet. The Frenchman has been caught up in the crossfire because of a clause on his contract that forces the Spanish Capital team to pay 40 million Euros to Barcelona if the player appeared in more than 50% of Atlético's matches. So Simeone's board had ordered him to do not to use Griezmann.

Since that command appeared, the Fortnite enjoyer was relegated to the bench. And that has caused a big controversy between the Spanish giants. While these clubs are fighting for contract details, many clubs have approached Barcelona asking for the price of the striker, and one of them is Manchester United.

We should remember the "Red Devils" once approached the then Atlético de Madrid player for a move to England. In 2016 they offered 65 million Euros for the French star but, in the end, he decided to go to Barcelona for a price that doubled the English club's offer.

What's the cost for the French superstar?

Even if Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona are having trouble with the player's costs, the contract has a clause that allows any club to have Antoine Griezmann's services, the cost? 40 million Euros. We can see that if the French World Cup winner completed a move to Manchester United, he could be of the top 3 most valuable players.  He would charge little less than two players: Cristiano Ronaldo (wins 31 million per season) and David de Gea (22.5 million per season).
