The Brazilian midfielder was left out of the starting lineup for the game with Scott McTominay and Eriksen preferred in midfield by manager Erik ten Hag.
The Brazilian midfielder was a key player for Real Madrid as they won the Champions League last season, but he was left on the bench for the Red Devils' game at the Etihad Stadium. And Ferdinand believes that ten Hag's decision to start his already favorite midfielders ahead of him will have not gone down well with Casemiro.

Yes, he’s experience and whatnot, but he must be sitting there thinking, ‘wow, I’m happy to be here at Man United but I’m feeling a little bit disrespected here, given what I’ve done. I’d be surprised if he’s not feeling like that".
