Real Madrid decided not to sign any striker besides Joselu and they'll face the season without any replacement for him.

Real Madrid were very active during this summer's transfer window. They signed one of the most promising players in the world: Jude Bellingham. The English midfielder didn't take long to make an important impact in La liga as he's the current top goalscorer after 4 matches. Also, Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler, Kepa, Fran García and Joselu were added to the squad.

After Karim Benzema's departure to Al Ittihad, Real Madrid was expected to sign at least two strikers to face this season. Joselu was the first one and the second one never happened. Kylian Mbappe seemed to be the only option for Real Madrid and they couldn't reach an agreement with PSG, despite reports that suggested Mbappe's days at PSG were over.

Besides Mbappe, some names were linked to Real Madrid over the summer. Now the transfer market is over and they didn't sign a second striker, but apparently they had the chance to sign two of the best attackers in the world.

Real Madrid refused to sign these two superstars

According to ‘CalcioMercato’, both Dusan Vlahovic and Victor Osimhen were offered to Real Madrid but Florentino Pérez refused to sign them. Reports suggest that the decision was not linked to Kylian Mbappe's possible signing, Real Madrid just didn't want to have these players on their squad.
