Lionel Messi is currrently on his best form since joining Paris Saint-Germain last year. In the first 6 Ligue one games, the argentinian has delivered 6 assists, more than any other player in the league, and he has scored 3 goals as well, making him the most important player on the pitch for the french club. A renowned french newspaper has just now revealed what PSG´s players really think about the ex Barcelona player.

'Le Parisien' informs about how Lionel Messi lives inside PSG´s dressing room. The french newspaper states how good of a relationship Messi has with the rest of his teammates, which would be one of the reasons why he is considered one of the heavyweights in the team, even above the french superstar, Kylian Mbappe, who wanted to impose conditions on the club, supposedly failed because of his lack of leadership.

The new Messi that Real Madrid wanted to make and that was a failure

According to the well known newspaper mentioned earlier, the squad is satisfied with Lionel Messi´s behaviour from the moment the preseason started. The argentinian´s voice is now louder than it used to be, and he has been seen happier than last season as well. This radical mood change from Argentina´s leader has made a very positive impact in the rest of the players, which has been proven by the great performance they´re showing on the pitch.

Messi, focused on the Champions League

After being unstoppable in the domestic league´s first 6 games, now the Champions League is what´s on Lionel Messi ´s mind. The current french champions are due to face Juventus, Benfica and Maccabi Haifa in the group stage. After failing to become a Champions League winner since 2015, Messi wants to reedem himself by winning it for his fifth time, which would also be PSG´s first time as a European champion.
