The Rosarino will not be in Juventus' first match against PSG in the continental tournament and worries the Argentina National Team.

Just a day after Lionel Scaloni's call-up for Argentina's upcoming friendlies against Honduras and Jamaica in the United States, Juventus announced in Italy the list of players that will travel to the French capital to face the Champions League debut against PSG. And the absence of Ángel Di María set off alarm bells in the AFA.

‘El Fideo’ was left out of the squad named by coach Massimiliano Allegri to play the first match of the most coveted competition in Europe in Group H against Paris Saint Germain, Di María's former team.

Di María is not at his best physical form and the Italian coach decided to leave him out of the tough match in Paris, against one of the top candidates for the title. In this sense, Matias Soulé came in place of Di Maria.

Di María’s injury problems

The problem for the Argentine attacker is in the adductor muscle of his left thigh, which will keep him out of action for at least 10 days. The 34-year-old experienced attacker scored the first goal and assisted Dušan Vlahović's third in Juventus' 3-0 win over Sassuolo in the first day of the Italian championship, but had to come off after 66 minutes due to his physical condition.
