What the United States coach says about the growth of his players

AC Milan and Juventus met in a match corresponding to matchday 10 of Serie A, where both clubs wanted to win the match. Juventus is having a great start to the season, but Milan is the current leader, so a defeat for either team was not the best scenario. In the end, it was the Bianconeri team, who ended up taking the victory in the match.

One of the great stories that this match had was precisely the confrontation of the main USMNT players. Pulisic and Musah, who play for AC Milan and Weah and McKennie, who play for the USMNT. In that sense, the United States coach decided to speak before the match, and shared his satisfaction at seeing the growth of the American soccer players on the field. Gregg Berhalter, USMNT coach, predicted how the match between AC Milan and Juventus will turn out: “I bet on a 2-2 with goals from Pulisic, Musah, Weah and McKennie” in la Gazzetta.

“This match (Milan-Juve) is further confirmation of the enormous steps that soccer is taking in the United States. I have always considered Serie A as a giant and seeing so many protagonists of our team in a great match like this is something extraordinary,” added the USMNT strategist, who is experiencing the second stage in charge of him.

Berhalter's words about Pulisic

“At Milan and with Stefano Pioli, (Pulisic) has found the confidence to reach the top. Christian is undisputed in terms of talent or even from a tactical and character point of view. “He has imagination and technique,” he said about Captain America. “He defends, attacks, dribbles: he is a top player and will complete himself in Italy. “I don't know how many goals he will score, but I am sure he will help Milan win a trophy,” he added. Unfortunately, in this match Pulisic had to leave in the first half, due to Thiaw's expulsion.
