PSG's project crumbles! Messi and company could leave next season...

PSG history may be recent, but that made us witness the incredible changes that have happened not only on the Parisian side but in the French league as well. The age where Olympique Lyon dominated the league and won 7 titles in a row is really far away. Now French football is dominated by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi's project. 

Since he arrived in 2011, he has spent as much as he could to break through in the French league and international tournaments. With him in the lead, the Parisian team won eight different times Ligue 1 and finished second only on three occasions. Also, they were runner-ups in the 2019-2020 Champions league.

But what has stood out from his project is the big investment in the team. He hasn't held up when signing big names and getting them out of the team without looking back. That formula leads them to be one of the most serious contenders to win the Champions League each season. 

Now, who will leave Al-Khelaïfi's team?

This season they pretend to win the Champions League with Mbappé as the lead star of the team, but we all forget this super team might only last one season since three big names might go out as the next season arrives. 

Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos' contracts finish in the summer of 2023, so if they don't get a renewal, two of the most important players of the team might go out. Even more, Mbappé has gained so much power inside PSG that they have asked his opinion on transfers and it was reported he doesn't mind if Neymar leaves the team. Those three players might leave sooner than expected, what will happen if PSG wins the Champions League this season? Only time will tell if PSG mega project endures.
