In the summer of 2018, Liverpool was interested in signing Dusan Tadic from Southampton. However, a deal couldn't be agreed and Tadic ended up joining Ajax instead. It's clear that Klopp rates Tadic highly and it's easy to see why.

The Serbian international has been one of the best players in the Eredivisie over the past seasons as he has played a key role in Ajax's run to the Champions League semi-finals last season. At 33 years old, Tadic is already past his prime and he would have been a great addition to Liverpool's squad. However, it wasn't meant to be and Klopp will have to look elsewhere as he looks to build a squad capable of getting back on track in the Premier League.
