Brazilian attacker Neymar assured on Saturday that he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain to fulfill his contract and that no one at the club has said anything to him about them looking for him to leave. "I want to stay at this club. So far, the club hasn't said anything to me. I still have several years left on my contract. Paris has not said anything to me in this regard," said the player in a statement to the French press after the friendly that PSG played in Japan with Urawa Red Diamonds (0-3 in favor of the Parisians).

In that sense, the former FC Barcelona player spoke of the criticism he received last year in which fans questioned his performance and commitment to the Parc des Princes team, after the controversial failure in the Champions League.

Neymar claimed that "people talk too much, and they do it because they can't do anything else." "The truth is that I have nothing to prove. People know me and know how I am and how I play," the Brazilian star insisted.

Neymar offered to City

This week, the newspaper 'Le Parisien' reported that PSG had proposed to Manchester City to send a barter of players with Neymar as a bargaining chip, an offer rejected by the English club. The newspaper added that, in order to part with Neymar, PSG faces the problem that it is a 30-year-old player with a 30 million euros net annual fee on a contract that expires in 2027.
