Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to agree to fresh terms, putting the club at risk of losing him for free. Paris Saint-Germain is monitoring the situation and could make a move for the 31-year-old if he becomes available.
So far, Chelsea has been unable to agree on a new deal with the World Cup champions because it has been reported they'll only offer him a two-year deal with an optional third. But the midfielder wants a longer contract like the four-year deal they offered to the new Chelsea defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, who's also 31.

With PSG said to be interested in signing Kante, Chelsea could be left facing a battle to keep hold of one of their most important players.
Losing Kante would be a huge blow for Chelsea, who have already seen their Champions League-winning coach Thomas Tuchel leave just after the beginning of the season.
Ever since he moved to Chelsea back in 2016 there were rumors about his return to France have been active. Even in January, it was reported that Kanté snubbed a PSG offer. But now that he hasn't agreed with the new management of the Blues, the French monarchs might finally get him after many years.
