FC Barcelona arrives to the seventh week of La Liga’s tournament as the leader of the standings with an epic and dramatic 3-2 comeback against Celta Vigo to link up their sixth straight victory and remain as one of the only two undefeated teams of the Spaniard tournament, Girona being the other team.

Now, for the seventh week, FC Barcelona is visiting Iberdrola Stadium in order to play against Mallorca (who lost 5-2 versus Girona), and Barcelona is already losing against Javier Aguirre’s team. The last time Mallorca managed to win over Barcelona was in May of 2009. It has been 11 games where Mallorca has failed to score against Barcelona, but with Muriqui's goal the bad streak is over.

In the minute 8’ Verdant Muriqui managed to score the first goal for Mallorca, with a great mistake made by Ten Stegen, when he passed the ball to Antonio Sánchez just meters away from the goal line.

Sánchez used this mistake and passed the ball to Muriqui in order to strike the ball and put the first score against Barcelona. The Blaugrana team is the favorite in the odds to win this game, as Mallorca was outmatched 5-3 last week, they also are in the 15th place of the standings and should not represent any harm for the culé team, until now…

What’s next for Barcelona?

Barcelona remains undefeated and the leader of the standings. Today’s game should be a secure win against Mallorca, nevertheless, they are currently losing 1-0 with points scored by Mauriqui.

Lewandowski has not been activated for today’s match, but the one who made his official debut with the Blaugrana team is Indigo Martinez, who is defending Barcelona’s goal line. If Barcelona lose today, their winning streak would be over but will remain as the top leader of La Liga’s standings.
