Moments after Bayern Munich drew PSG in the Champions League round of 16, Muller took to social media to share his reaction on the draw - and he's feeling confident! Bayern were knocked out the last time these two sides locked horns in the Champions League knockout stage. PSG squeezed past the German side in the quarter-finals on away goals, despite losing the second leg 1-0 in Paris, courtesy of their 3-2 win at the Allianz Arena.

The forward will be in action for Die Roten against Werder Bremen and Schalke respectively before heading to Qatar with the German national team for the World Cup. Paris Saint-Germain will battle it out with Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich in arguably the tie of the round with February's first leg taking place at the Parc des Princes. The clash means this season's competition will lose one of its big guns at an early stage, so plenty will be at stake over the two legs.

Luis Campos delivers his verdict

"I remember talking to the players in the dressing room after the win in Turin, and said it would be Bayern," PSG football advisor Luis Campos said after Monday's draw. “It's a great opportunity for us to continue the great season we're having. Playing against a big club is very motivating. Playing at the Parc and in Munich with the quality that we have, you have to see that very positively. It's a good time to play Bayern, because we feel very good and very confident about the rest of the season.”
