The spotlight is on Kylian Mbappé's future, although not everyone is waiting for it. According to L'Equipe's report, Marco Verratti has known for some time what the forward is going to do. The Italian midfielder dined with Mbappé in Cannes at the end of the previous season, where the forward revealed his plan for the current season.

L'Equipe explains that Mbappé informed Verratti that he intended to remain at PSG. Not only that, but according to the French source, Mbappé also expressed to Verratti his desire to continue alongside him at PSG. However, this is not entirely assured as the Italian midfielder is one of the players potentially departing the Parisian team. He has offers, especially from Saudi Arabia, to leave PSG this summer.

According to the ‘Outlet', Mbappé has two options on the table. The first is to extend his contract for another year, until 2025, and the second is to sign a completely new contract with new terms. This way, Mbappé wouldn't leave PSG for free next year, something the French club wants to avoid at all costs.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid is closely observing all developments, and internally, they haven't ruled out the possibility of signing the player. Reports from France suggest that the Spanish club is going to present an offer for Mbappé at the end of this week, in the final days of the transfer market.

When does PSG play again and against whom?

PSG will receive Lens as local today. The Parisians had ended in a tie in their first two Ligue1 matches, competing against Lorient and Toulouse. On the other hand, Lens has had a rough start, drawing one and losing one. Both teams lack confidence as they meet at Parc des Princes. With just two points from six possible, all eyes are on Luis Enrique's lineup for PSG's first win this season.
