On Sunday, Manchester United faced one of their biggest rivals, Manchester City, in what was sure to be an intense match. However, after the horrendous defeat of 6-3 against Manchester City, everybody started to argue Erik ten Hag's starting eleven.
But among his defenders, a Manchester United legend stood up. Ex Valencia manager Gary Neville didn't think the Dutch manager was to blame for the team's poor performance, but his players are. When he started to analyze the game Neville was asked about ten Hag's choices and whether he would have changed any of them.

Erik ten Hag revealed why did Manchester United were humiliated against Manchester City
Gary Neville has dismissed suggestions that Manchester United's lineup against Manchester City was wrong. United midfielders and strikers for the game were Rashford, Eriksen, Fernandes, McTominay, and Sancho. And all of them failed miserably to worry Guardiola's squad.
Neville believes that this was the right lineup for the game and that it was the disruption of the international break prior to the World Cup and the Queen passing that affected the Red Devils. He said “Midfield players and the forwards; Rashford, Eriksen, Fernandes, McTominay, they were all giving it away first-half unnecessarily”.
