Liverpool disappoint again against Brighton

It almost took a month for Liverpool to play a Premier League game again. Still, the Anfield crowd was ready to see the Reds play. However, it was not the evening that the fans were waiting for. Unfortunately, Liverpool showed that they are not yet ready to return to the top of the Premier League, at least not yet

Unfortunately for the Reds, the problems are not over yet. Although Klopp's team put pressure on Brighton in the first half of the match, the visitors took advantage of the spaces left by the home defense and advanced by two goals.

However, Liverpool managed to turn the game around and was able to score three times. However, it was clear that now something is missing that Liverpool normally had in past seasons, the management of the result. Despite being a goal ahead, Brighton managed to tie the game and now we have to question if Liverpool will be able to recover before its too late. 

The only standout on the team is Roberto Fermino

Amongst all the darkness facing Liverpool, Roberto Firmino was the only ray of hope. The 30-year-old Brazilian striker showed against Brighton that he still has plenty to give the Reds. His two goals were essential during the game. Although they did not take all three points, Liverpool at least showed that they have more options in attack.
