Many argue that Jurgen Klopp is under a spell. Since the start of the season, Liverpool has been an irregular team. Even though in the UEFA Champions League they have shown why they were the runner-up last season, in the Premier League their poor playing performance has been seen.

The alleged spell that Klopp is under has been with him for years. Supposedly once he completes seven years with a soccer team, precisely in the seventh year his squad becomes irregular and they no longer play like on their best days. This is one supposed explanation of why Liverpool no longer plays well.

Gomez was the right-back against the Rangers

Due to Trent Alexander Arnold's injury, Joe Gomez took his place as a right-back against the Scottish team in the UEFA Champions League match. He managed to show his quality when it came to defending and even though Rangers were not a strong rival, it proved that he will now fight to be in the starting team after Alexander Arnold recovers. Will this change be the new key to success in Liverpool? Only time will tell.
