After many days of negotiations between Sergio Ramos and other clubs, the Spaniard has decided to play at Sevilla the next season. The new was confirmed minutes ago, according to Fabrizio Romano, he put a tweet with his famous sentence ‘Here we go’.
The 37 years old has accepted the conditions offered by Sevilla, that not was the better economically offer that he received. Few days ago Galatasaray made a proposal of 7,5M€ per year and the Arabian team Al-Ittihad, the same that had recently signed Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kanté and Fabinho made a proposal of 20M€ per year.
Sevilla is not in his best moment, they has already played 3 La Liga matches and they lost all of them, against Sevilla (1-2), Alaves (3-4) and Girona (1-2). In addition to that they lost too the UEFA Super Cup against Manchester City in penalties after 1-1 in the full time.
Sergio Ramos will lower his salary to make his wish to retire in Sevilla, their first club. After 18 years, he is back and he will play the Champions League, one of the reasons that he decided to continue playing in Europe. Ramos will sign a one year contract with the option to extend one year more. He will earn 1,5M€ in the season, according to Onda Cero.
