Everyone remembers the iconic Real Madrid squad nicknamed ‘The Galactics’. Luis Figo, Ronaldo Nazario, Zinedine Zidane, Makélélé, Raúl Gonzales, David Beckham, Roberto Carlos, Guti, Hierro. These names caused fear and amazed audiences all over the world with their class and dominion over the league and Europe. 

They were the start of Florentino Pérez's ambitious projects that gave Real Madrid results time and time again over the years. Later on came a second generation of gifted players: Cristiano Ronaldo, Ozil, Benzema, Di Maria and the iconic brazilian star and Ballon D'or, Ricardo Kakà.

It's precisely this last star that has changed his life around and continues to dedicate his time to sports. Ricardo Kakà has surprised the world with his newfound passion. In June, Kakà started to run marathons and his first one was in his come country, Rio de Janeiro. 

June 19th was his first time running a competition and now he's participated in Berlin's marathon that consists in 42 km. At 40 years of age, Kakà participated in this race and had a time of 3 hours, 28 minutes and 36 seconds. The Brazilian superstar stated that he's been enjoying this activity and he has been training hard. 

Kakà's favorites in Brazil and the world

Before the start of the race in Berlín, Kakà declared that his favorites are two Spanish players that belong to FC Barcelona.  He's talking about Pedri and Gavi, the two young talents that FC Barcelona and Xavi Hernandez have harvested. He's also declared that he's happy with how Brazil is managing their national team and that Neymar is the present and the experience whereas Vinicius, Anthony and Raphinha are the present.
