The world of football is in mourning. He has died the German soccer legend, Franz Beckenbauer, at 78 years of age. The causes of his death have not yet been revealed, however, it was his family that confirmed the death of the former player. Now, social networks have poured out messages of love and peace to the man who was one of the best players in the world.
Without going any further, Franz Beckenbauer is considered the best player in the entire history of Germany, since he won the 1974 World Cup as a player, and then did so as a coach in 1990. In addition, he was champion of 3 European Cups (Now Champions League), with Bayern Munich.
Franz Beckenbauer won 2 Ballon d'Ors, being the first defensive player in history to win the prestigious award twice. He was nicknamed in Germany and around the world as: "The Kaiser", which in German means the emperor. This, due to his hierarchy in the field. His lifelong team was Bayern Munich, where he shone and will be remembered as the club's greatest legend.
