Mason Greenwood is the newest addition to Spain's Getafe. The 21-year-old English forward joins from Manchester United, where he had been part of the club since he was 6 years old.

During his time with the Red Devils, he played 83 matches and scored 22 goals, becoming the youngest goal scorer for Manchester United in a European competition at just 17 years old. However, Greenwood faced controversy last year when he was separated from the United squad due to an incident involving gender-based violence.

A couple of weeks ago, the club announced that Greenwood would no longer be part of the team and that they wished for him to continue his career elsewhere. Several clubs expressed interest in Greenwood, and on the deadline day, Getafe provided him with an opportunity, signing him on loan.

The signing of Greenwood sparked controversy, but Jose Bordalas, the team's manager, wasted no time defending the player and the club's decision to bring him on board.
