Before Paris Saint Germain's game against Olympique Lyonnais, Christophe Galtier had to face the press. Of course, the journalists were eager to challenge the French manager and ask him some tough questions. Since PSG had trouble on their visit to Israeli champion Maccabi Haifa, the media's main focus was to ask him about the squad's defending problems.

Nevertheless, there was a twist, as always happens when talking about a controversial topic: among the fantastic attacking trio of Neymar, Mbappé, and Messi, who is the most useful when the Parisian team needs to defend? These kinds of questions are really tricky since we all know most strikers don't defend, and even less when they're mega stars like them.

But in the end, the 56-year-old coach managed the press like a true pro and gave them what they want: a simple, yet fulfilling answer that may got not only Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé happy, but the press as well. Meaning Galtier really appreciates and respects all three of today's football megastars.

Who's Galtier's favorite?

He said that all of them have a very high level and got the ability to make a decision during a game. But right now, the Brazilian star has the best defending abilities.  “Ney is the one with the best profile to have this defensive withdrawal. This desire too. Kylian is an important point of attachment. Leo has a different form. He is always very well placed to receive the ball. Ney is the one that gives the best balance.”
