Real Madrid was the big winner of the spanish classic. The team led by Carlo Ancelotti turned the tables, beat FC Barcelona 2-1 and continues as leader of the Spanish League along with Girona thanks to the undisputed figure he had on the field, with his first and last name: Jude Bellingham. The 20-year-old scored the two goals that gave him the victory and confirms his good performance that since he arrived at Madrid he has become the standard bearer of the team.

With an enormous present and a future that looks just as good or better, Jude Bellingham has gained entry to a very exclusive conversation where the great Madrid legends sit. But this is not said at random, but is supported by numbers. And, with statistics in hand, the '5' of the merengue team can be at the same table, as incredible as it may seem, as the top scoring legends that Real Madrid has had in its entire history.

So far and with his double in the spanish classic, Jude Bellingham has accumulated an impressive 13 goals in his first 13 official matches as a Real Madrid player. Numbers identical to those achieved by two forwards who are considered among the best in all of history, such as the portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and the argentinian Alfredo Di Stéfano when they started their time in Spain. The portuguese finished his cycle in the spanish capital with 450 goals, while the argentinian did so with 308 goals.

Bellingham's gesture to the Barça fans that no one noticed

Idolatry for Bellingham spreads quickly throughout Real Madrid, because despite of his young age and his high cost (103 million euros plus variables), the englishman is already on his way to becoming an idol. It was at the end of the match against FC Barcelona that Bellingham made a particular movement that quickly attracted attention. Captured by DAZN, it took place when he was heading to the locker room and he did it on more than one occasion: when he was saying goodbye to the local fans he touched his ears, alluding to the fact that he doesn't listen to them.
