Barcelona had an incredible summer. They managed to pull almost magic like financial trigs to get enough money for big transfer names like the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, the left full-back Marcos Alonso and center-back Jules Koundé. But it seems those players aren't enough.
The Catalan team wants more variety for their squad and the name of an English international has come up on Joan Laporta's (Barcelona's president) agenda: Marcus Rashford. The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to outside Old Trafford for many years now, so could he be set for a switch in the future?
Erik ten Hag doesn't care about Ronaldo and he could leave anytime soon
The season can get worse for Man Utd, the tough games ahead could sink them more
We all know Robert Lewandowski is an amazing forward, even if he is 34 years old he proves every weekend he still has much to deliver. So far this season in the Spanish league he has scored nine goals and assisted three times in just seven matches.
As we all know it's really difficult for pro footballers to keep their unique level past their 30s, but Xavi's project could endure more than four years and Lewandowski probably won't be the same after that period. That's why Rashford could move to Spain, even more now that his contract expires next year (with optional 1-year renewal).
